Opertive since 1985, Bouvet Media accept assignments within documentary photography and video, podcasting, blogging, layout/graphic design (print and electronic/web), web sites, and use of social media (incl Facebook and Twitter). We also offer stock photography.
This part of Bouvet Foundation was previously known as Bouvet Photography, and is now based in Kupang, the centre of the Indonesian province NTT. It was started by our Creative Adviser Basil Rolandsen, based on experience from commercial assignments for newspapers, as well as from giving courses in photography and dark room work. Early assignments was for artists, advertising and magazines. Focus is now on people in the developing world.
Our Photo Gallery exhibits some of our stills photography. Bairo Pite Clinic is an example of a web site we have made, and includes blog, documentary photography galleries, social media links and more. The HydroTimor web site lists downloadable (standard definition versions of) documentary videos as well as electronic brochures from the Iralalaru and Gariuai hydroelectric power development projects.
